"There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing." - Alfred Wainwright

One of the best things about Sydney is the weather. Most of the time, it’s sunny dan dingin, macam just right saja. The kind that’s perfect for strolling, taking pictures, picnicking, BBQing and just about any outdoor activities. Even their patrolling cops cycle everywhere, which explains why they all look so fit and healthy. The Boss kept on asking, “Who is paying for all this aircond, God?! Why is my country so hot?!” Hahaha. Sigh, Sydney people are so lucky! *stares sadly into Malaysia scorching hot, berjeberebu sky*

Jadinya, Sydney travel tips pertama kali ini, find an accommodation not far from the must-go attractions and you can just walk here and there. We stayed at Meriton Serviced Apartment which was awesome. The first night we were there, after dinner (and making sure Hadi had fallen asleep), the Boss and I strolled along the city and walked all the way to Darling Harbour. We initially wanted to take a cab but the cab driver told us truthfully that the place isn’t too far, tapi kalau naik kenderaan jadi jauh and mahal. And so we walked. Mind you, I was 3 months pregnant at that time dan masyaAllah, sesampainya di Darling Harbour, all I wanted to do was baring. Albeit the wonderful weather, penat gila weh. The Boss had to bribe me with dessert to make me feel better. Haha.

Walking to Paddy's Market and occasionally stopping for pictures. Hehehe.

Perempuan gemuk ini sedang mengandung tiga bulan ketika ini.
They sell the famous roti canai terbang here. Heard that it's not even that good tapinya good enough lah kot for Malaysians living in Sydney craving for roti canai back home.

Sydney travel tips kedua ialah be sure to buy your souvenirs at the Paddy’s Market. The prices there are at least 3 times cheaper (if not more) from outside souvenir shops. Keychains, fridge magnets, hiasan pejabat, t-shirts, household items, plush toys, bags and what not, you name it, they got it. I did buy fridge magnets from Madam Tussaud’s, Hard Rock and Sydney Sea Life though, because these kinda magnets are not sold in Paddy’s.

There you have it, my Sydney travel tips for today. Till next Oz entry!
