"Wrapping is self-expression. It is an extension of the gift. It is the soul of the giver communicating to the soul of the recipient." - Megumi Inouye

One of the things that I get asked a lot that I don’t have the proper answer to is: How to tie the perfect ribbon? Saya tidak tahu mahu menjelaskannya. Basically it’s something you have to demonstrate (and trust me, I don’t have any special techniques whatsoever!) Kalau secara verbal memang sukar diterangkan. You can find so many tutorials on Youtube (there’s tutorials for almost everything there you wouldn’t believe it!) but I found these two simple ones on Pinterest, which I thought I’d share with you.

How to tie the perfect bow:

This is how I basically tie my ribbons. Mostly the rupa paras depends on the fabric you use, the satin keras kind won’t create the same kemas, polished look like grosgrain ribbons would. I’m a huge fan of grosgrain ribbons (though they’re more expensive) and soft satin ribbons. Ooh soft satins, they give lovely romantic impact on just about anything!

And go to this LINK to learn how to wrap the perfect present. Below are some of the pictures, there are 12 steps shown but really, it’s much simpler than that. They have to break it into 12 pictures for clearer understanding I guess.

So there you have it, my second How To edition! Happy wrapping, people!

Hello just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of
the pictures aren't loading properly. I'm not sure why but I think its a linking issue.

I've tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
