Highlights of today: As at 10.45 in the morning, it was the Nasi Lemak and Teh O I had for breakfast. Highlights of yesterday: 25th week check up; all is well alhamdulillah. Baby is healthy, I am healthy and everything seems to be progressing just fine. Oh and the doctor gave me an MC simply because I was tired. Ngeh. How special it is to be pregnant.

Highlights of the weekends: LOTS!!! Started my weekend early Subuh of Friday; woke up the Husband as we’ve got a plane to catch at 8.30 a.m. But he had another plan; he wanted to drive instead! Grrrrrrrr. As we were berbolak-balik making decision, MIL called; she has arrived to send us off to the airport. Kah kah. So instead, we went out for breakfast with MIL and later at 10, began our so-called road trip to KL. But first, of course we had to stop at Muar!

Bertemu Bon and Zimah’s 5-months-old daughter for the first time! Irsa Hana; what an adorable name, and Hana adalah sungguh comel dan baik laku! The 5 of us went out for Asam Pedas lunch and later for some coffee at Kedai Kopi Sai Kee. The Husband is obsessed dengan Kopi Sai Kee. Lalu I just had to have a glass of their Iced Coffee, sebab terliur.

It was Ibu’s 53rd birthday on the 15th, so later at night we went out to Pan Pacific Hotel to celebrate. It was a fun night; rasa sungguh content dalam jiwa. I don’t think Ibu looks even a bit over 40! Mudah-mudahan I will age as gracefully macam Ibu.

Saturday morning, after breakfast with the parents and what not, kami menuju ke Subang to visit Aniz and Muhaimin’s new born, 8-days-old handsome boy, Arman Rais.

Sungguh membahagiakan that I got to meet my favourite girls sambil melawat Arman. It was impromptu actually. Kalau plan, mesti tak jadi. Tak ada proper plan, tiba-tiba dapat jumpa beramai-ramai. How I wish dapat jumpa selalu, but too bad we’re geographically separated. But as Elisabeth Foley said, “the most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.”

Later the day, we went to Jalan TAR; had the scrumptious Nasi Briyani Insaf for early dinner and met my parents at Sogo to do some shopping for the little one. Sangat menggembirakan. Weee!

On Sunday, after the most delicious home-cooked lunch and a few rounds of PS3 battles of Hubby v Little Bro, at 6 p.m. we gerak back to JB and yeah, of course we had to stop at the Jonker’s Street! Ngeh. Suka sangat nak jalan-jalan situ. Kemudian hanya beli satu kipas kecil. Haha. We finally reached home at 2 in the morning! Sangat letih, but had so so so much fun.

It is indeed true what Thomas Jefferson said, that “the happiest moments of my life have been the few which I have passed at home in the bosom of my family.” Isk isk.
