Intro punyalah panjang. Haha. Sebenarnya I just want to share something I read in FHM May 2009, on 8 Ways to Live Longer, so that you get to live to piss off your great grand children one day. Heh.
(1) Consume less than 2,000 calories a day.
Unchecked. I don’t count my calories intake. Ever. Should I start? Susahlah. Saya suka makan. Saya kasihan dengan orang yang terlalu jaga calories consumption mereka sehingga tak dapat enjoy makan. Makan sangat sedap. Nikmat dari Tuhan yang tidak terhingga.
(2) Take vitamins.
Checked! (Dengan bangga saya checked) I take my vitamins religiously. My daily intakes consist of Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Folic Acid and Evening Primrose Oil. Saya rasa supplements ini memang berkesan. Tak tahulah sama ada psychology semata-mata atau memang betul. I have just started taking Bidadari (the homeopathy supplement from DCL) after few recommendations selepas keguguran but I guess I should be more disciplined lah sebab selalu terlupa minum. And after reading Reena's blog, I gave Brand’s Inner Shine (Berry) a try and was instantly hooked. Semoga complexion saya akan cantik seperti Camelia’s selepas ini. Ameen.
(3) Stay clear of red meat.
Unchecked. This I cannot do. Saya suka red meat although I do limit my intakes. As Jessica Simpson put it, "Real girls eat meat". Not! Jangan tertipu dengan dakyah beliau yang sebenarnya dengki dengan Vegetarian of the Year, Miss Carrie Underwood. Yes, this blog contains a lot of unnecessary info which I pick along the way from God knows where/who.
(4) Get nutty about nuts.
Semi unchecked. I don’t really eat nuts. Except in cookies or chocolate. Saya selalu dituduh tidak mahu dijangkiti jerawat but really, tidaklah. Kadang-kadang saya rasa perasaannya mengganggu. Kuah kacang juga saya tidak berapa suka. Kecuali kalau makan dengan satay.
(5) Keep good company.
Checked! My family and friends adalah tunggak kebahagiaan saya. Toxic friends and negative people, bugger off, please.
(6) Train your brain.
Checked. Hari-hari otak saya terpaksa bekerja keras, believe it or not. Hahaha yeah I know I write a lot of silly junks here but I am a serious ‘ambulance chaser’ by profession. You have to know me in that capacity to believe it. Heh. Konon-kononlah. Macam bagus.
(7) Eat more than four portions of veg each day.
Unchecked. Malu nak admit sebenarnya. But I do try to consume as much as I can. Banyak juga jenis sayur yang saya sangat suka sebenarnya.
(8) Drink lots of water.
Semi checked. Does Nescafe counts? Ngeee. Ya, ya, saya cuba. Saya memang sentiasa cuba minum air kosong sebanyak yang mungkin.
So tell me people, anda rasa, based on this, will I be able to live healthily to piss of my great grand daughter with my pretty complexion and slender waist at the age of 118? I doubt it lah. Ngeee.
