My current obsession with Community!

 

 

A bit tertinggal keretapi of me but when it comes to awesome TV shows, it’s better late than never! In case you haven’t been infected by the show’s charm, Community revolves around a study group comprising of 7 colourful misfits at Greendale Community College. Why is it a must-watch? The show is clever and unbelievably funny! The racial satire, sarcastic humour, politically incorrect jokes, rapid-fire wit, pop culture references; ah I can go on forever!

 

And the leading man, ah the leading man! Jeff Winger! He’s a lawyer who got suspended after the Bar found out that he did not have a legitimate bachelor’s degree thus he had to return to college as a deal with the Bar to prevent him from being disbarred. He’s snarky, sarcastic to the bone, talks real fast and yeah of course, is “rakishly good looking”.

 

And do you know who Winger reminds me of? None other than Harvey Specter. They’re both lawyers; and they have the same smug smirk, narcissistic confidence, and yeah they got swagger. I love them both equally I must say. Heh.

 

I’ve finished watching Season 1 which was awesome, awesome, awesome! Currently am on episode 16 of Season 2; I personally think the second season started a bit flat and the jokes aren’t that LAUGH OUT LOUD ROLL ON THE FLOOR GULING-GULING PECAH PERUT kind of funny anymore, but it is still as much fun and still as original. I do hope it will get better though. Anyways, if you haven’t done so, please give Community a watch, it’s impossible to not fall in love.
