The firm has been operating for a month and alhamdulillah, we did have some collection from our first month of operation. What I love most about working here is firstly, the husband is the Big Boss so yeah, that’s a major plus point. I have freedom and flexibility, which is the thing most mothers crave the most. And I even get to bring the little boss here once in a while; the Big Boss even bought a sofa bed for my room for the little boss. Oh and our friends and family can drop in whenever they like, super fun I know. And unlike in my previous firms, here I get percentage from cases, and this is a huge motivation I must say. I don’t mind meeting clients after office hour and working on the weekend, because this is our firm, we gotta work hard for it! I like the cozy office ambiance, my spacious room, my awesome colleagues, and that I get to have breaks anytime and wouldn’t have to wait until 1 sharp for my lunch break. Haha those were the days; working at a big firm has its pros and cons and I’m glad I’ve had that experienced. But this firm, oh this firm, now I know what it feels to not having to literally drag my body to work.

Oh and I love that the firm’s address is Jalan Kemajuan. I’m a sucker for things like this. Kemajuan, which is what we strive for. Do pray for us good people, and if you have any friends in Johor with any legal problems (ANYTHING! Except well, Syariah, as we don’t have the expertise in Islamic law), do refer them to us and we promise you that we’ll do the best that we can (I never ever will guarantee a win because that’s not what lawyers should do, but that’s another longwinded topic) but yeah, pray and refer, you do that for me, will ya?
