"Laughter is an instant vacation" - Milton Berle

What do I not like about Singapore? Bahawa tandas awam adalah tanpa bekalan air berpaip. I just don’t understand how people boleh membersihkan diri with toilet papers/tissues sahaja. I mean, beristinjak itu memanglah boleh, tapi jika tak ada air. So yeah, their toilets are FOC, with free flows of tissues, tapi tak suka, boleh tak?

But that’s just about it. Oh and the fact bahawa saya selaku wanita Malaysia berpendapatan sederhana merasa sungguh sederhana di Singapura. Singapore Dollar sungguh mengkagumkan.

So, what do I like about Singapore? Pretty much everything else. The awesome architecture. The smart underpass system. Their crime-free street. The pretty, pretty night view of the busy Orchard Road. Their Christmas sale. The Hard Rock Café. Yada yada yada. My parents are big fans as well, so setiap kali mereka datang ke JB, we’ll surely bring them to the neighbouring country, dan setiap kalipun akan ke Mustafa Center di tengah malam. Watches, chocolates and perfumes are among their favourite purchases. Haha.

They were in JB somewhere in December and this time around, I was a bit rajin so I took some pictures from the visit. More pictures are here, by the way.

I adore the building. Sangat cantik! Please ignore the rock chick wannabe. Ngeh.

I’m not fat, I’m pregnant. Kah kah. I love love love this tunic top. My parents got it for me from the maternity boutique, 9 Months, yang terdapat di Aeon Bukit Tinggi. It’s light and stretchable, hence super comfy. Dan disebabkan it is made from stretchable material, my baby bump kelihatan sungguh ketara, maka saya sukalah. I think I look kembang though, but Hubby loves how I look in this picture, so yeah, I’m flattered. Heh.

Dapat dilihat semua perkara dan manusia bergerak except for me. Sungguh istimewa.

Cam-whoring in the elevator. Check out my Little Bro’s lomo camera, a birthday gift from his sweetheart. Cool, huh? I want a lomo for my birthday! A digital one, please take note (sesiapa yang berkenaan). Kah kah birthday is like 3 months away, dah bising.

He’s not crazy just a little unwell, I know right now you CAN tell. Heh.

Oh and here are some more pictures from our visit (me and man, that is) the week after. Yes we were wearing the same baju because we’re cute that way. No lah, because we’re sengkek tak ada banyak baju. Haha no lah. Tak perasanpun we were wearing the same baju ketika the previous visit sehinggalah tengok gambar. Kah kah cuteness.

Different tudung (masih biru, but different shades of blue) and different handbag. Other than that, semuanya sama! Haha. Terasa kelakar.

Good snacks and hot chocolate drink on a rainy day ketika keletihan selepas calorie-burning from all the walking and window shopping around Orchard Road.

The man and his bulky (but powerful) DSLR, and me and my super tiny (but super cute) Blackie.

Rocking the Singapore Hard Rock Café. I’m a fan of live music and foods so HRC is always a favourite of mine. The band that was playing that night was an experienced lot but they played terlalu banyak mainstream songs maka sedikit bosanlah; I tak layan sangat Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas dan lagu sebegitu. I prefer bands yang main oldies dan lagu-lagu rock yang tak lapuk dek hujan. You get what I mean kan? But yeah, I still enjoyed the good doses of live music.

Anyways, kenapa tak ada HRC in JB?! Kalau kami buka café yang ada live bands here in JB, would you guys be interested untuk menyokong kami? Apa kata survey?! Heheh.

I guess that’s about it from our latest Singapore escapade. Next entry: Batam, y'all!

kalau naik bus yang singapore hippo tuh (bus yg takde bumbung khas for tourist), dia bawak jalan satu sing. pastu kita leh turun kat mana2 stesen (biasanya is tempat menarik)yang kita suka, pastu jalan2 spuas hati n naik balik bas tuh untuk ke stesen lain.

kalau ade masa yang panjang, berbaloi lah nak gune singapore hippo tuh. bes jugaklah kan...
