No road is long with good company
I became a free (wo)man on Thursday when we completed our final paper, Advanced Criminal Procedure II. No more studying to do!!! Yeay! I hope I did okay for my Final. I know I could have done better, given more time, and could have made less careless mistakes. But it is now over, I have tried my best, and I now leave it all to Allah. Thank you to all my inspiring lecturers, and my wonderful friends. (My friends have unknowingly helped making the journey worthwhile). These 6 years of reading law has been the best time of my life (maybe until better moments could replace this teehee). It has been great. And purely satisfying.
I celebrated my free-(wo)man-day by going for karaoke with my man. It was so much fun. FYI, I rarely sing in front of others (except Far of course), especially if the singing involves any sort of pembesar suara (microphone etc), and especially in front of people who CAN really sing. I am very very self concious about my singing. For instance, I never sing for, or even in front of King (back when we were dating) because he sings very well. My parents are very fond of karaoke, but I do not sing in front of them sekiranya perlu guna microphone, juga simply kerana they can really sing. I can sing dengan Far because I am so so comfortable doing almost anything with her. BUT now with my man, I CAN freely sing my heart out. I never have to worry being out of tune. I am simply very very comfortable singing for him, in front of him, with him, with or without pembesar suara. And here's the killer: My man can Really Really Really sing! His voice is so amazing, he could beat that Mawi guy anytime. Bottom line: Amat benar that love is the magician that pulls a man out of his own hat.
On the same day, at night, we went to Mazia's place for Nasi Briyani Open House. Her dad cooks the best Nasi Briyani. A lot of people came, including her beloved lecturers who practically become her family now (her Pa, Ma, Dad, Mak, they are). And there, Mr. Basir confirmed a kinda good news to me. Not telling. Teehee.
Yesterday I went on a window-shopping-spree with Far to 4 shopping complexes dalam masa 10 jam. In heels. Woohoo. Went to PKNS, SACC Mall, and later we took a commuter and went to Mid Valley where I bought myself a new, pretty wallet from Dorothy Perkins. And as if we were not tired enough, we took another commuter and went jalan2 at Jalan TAR and SOGO, and bought nothing. It was very very exhausting but those 10 hours (from 11 a.m.-9 p.m.) were some of the most quality, fun time I spent with Far. So so much fun. Still tired from walking and bercerita and laughing, 2 hours after we reached home, I went out for Nasi Lemak supper in Meru with my man, hungry and longing to bercerita with him. Dan natijahnya, today I was flat, and woke up late, itupun hesitantly.
Anyway talking about fun, the whole batch will be off to Port Dickson this Monday, until Wednesday for our trip. I cannot wait anymore. Sandy beach and good friends. What more could a tired-from-exam girl ask for?
