is to commit to it like crazy"

Alhamdulillah. Thank you, Allah.
And in just a few days, my Husband and I will turn one. Our union, that is. My parents, who will celebrate their 28th anniversary this year, 13 days after our 1st anniversary; they are the best example of a great marriage, in my opinion. They share. They respect. They bicker. They laugh. They’re basically their own best friends. In all my single years, I have prayed to Allah that He will bless me with such a partner; the one I can share everything with, one who will respect and love me for everything that I am, one I can debate with and argue and discuss everything with, one who can make me laugh and laugh at all the same thing, one who could guide me in the righteous path, and most importantly one who could be my best friend. Hence I thank Allah for granting it to me. Alhamdulillah. It has been the best one year of my life, Hubby. Truly it has.
Have you heard of the Bipolar Disorder? It is a scary, scary disease. I just saw one case on Oprah; this woman, she strangled her own son tanpa sedar. It’s as if dia menjadi orang lain seketika and had a lapse of judgment. It is basically a mood disorder; patients suffer depression, hallucination, delusion and mania. Menakutkan seh! This could happen to anyone of us! But then again, perhaps practicing Muslim akan sedikit sukar untuk diserang Bipolar Disorder sebab kita sentiasa ada Allah untuk mengadu, sentiasa perlu yakin dengan qada’ dan qadar dan sentiasa akan tenang selepas solat. Which is why I say practicing Muslim, with emphasis on practicing.
I hate judgmental people. Not to say that I’ve never been guilty of having first impression and what not; but some people, they really judge. They see you and they decide there and then what kind of person you are. They read your blog and they conclude you as this and that. I hate them. No I don’t exactly hate the judgmental individuals. I hate what they do. I hate it when they judge. Only Allah has the right to judge.
M: ‘Does your feet hurt?’ F: ‘No. Why?’ M: ‘Because you’ve been running in my mind the whole day long.’ Ngeee. I just saw one of the Channel V VJ trying that line on a girl. And no, despite his good look, he failed. Because you’ve been running in my mind the whole day long? Eyew. How more lame can a pick-up line be? Apparently there are a lot of lame pick-up lines! Read them here. Poyo-poyo belaka! ‘I'd marry your cat just to get in the family’? That is just so disturbing on so many levels. Haha.
As you can see, I am quite obsessed with the comel cards from Some Ecards. But I've got a new-found obsession! Stoodle is so darn cute! Thanks to Srikandi Dilla for the introduction. It’s a site where the Stoodle team doodle cute cartoons based on people’s Facebook random status. I really hope they’ll do their entries more often. Although I’m pretty sure my Facebook status will never get picked. Mine are always so boring. Yawn. Go see for yourself, their images are too cute to resist.
Have anyone ever stayed in Jalan Jaksa area? I read that there are a lot of budget/backpacker hotels in Jalan Jaksa. There is even one that looks more like an art gallery than a budget hotel. But I also read that Jalan Jaksa has deteriorated; which means, a lot less safe and a lot more call girls dan kegiatan seumpamanya. Any first-hand information? And what about Bandung? We’re thinking of a day trip only (sebab saya kepingin mahu naik kereta api yang seperti cool itu, the jakun that I am) but we haven’t really planned our whole trip jadi silalah bermurah hati memberikan cadangan. Besides shop and watch live bands, what else should we do in Jakarta?
Oh and I just finished reading A Place Called Here (yeah it took me quite some time due my emotional roller coaster) I absolutely adore Cecilia Ahern’s ability to combine obsessive compulsive disorder, magical lala land and the theory of emotional disappearance, all into one, and created a candy-sweet fairy tale. Comel betullah! So excuse me now, you guys go and have a good day. I want to engross myself in If You Could See Me Now. If only you could see me now, wallowing in self-pity and what not. Sigh.

So maybe no one from my alma mater got 20As for SPM 1999 to match this year SPM top achiever but we did pull off the 100% Grade 1 target! Pardon the blurry picture; adalah a newspaper cutting back from 1999 when almost all of us 959-ers beramai-ramai memeriahkan sekolah dengan keyakinan mendapat 100% Grade 1. Nasib baik dapat. Heh. And yes, there in the middle is the next-to-perfect Faridah, our top scorer (correct me if I’m wrong) who was also our Vice Head Prefect and is now a doctor in the UK; kan dah cakap, she’s next-to-perfect. Oh yes, she’s really nice too. Heh.
So I almost flunked my Chemistry (Puan Lim was relieved when she knew I was going to take up Law hahaha!) and got cukup-cukup makan for my other Science subjects (but better than I expected, I must say) but that didn’t stop me from celebrating. 100% Grade 1 was huge, man! Even for a premiere boarding school. Ketika zaman itulah. 10 years ago. My hat’s off to you, Nik Nur Madihah Nik Mohd Kamal. You are an inspiration.
This year will mark 10 years since the day we STF959-ers left Sekolah Tun Fatimah but the thought of STF still bring smiles to us all. Who can forget the senaman pagi, the dreadful block practice, fire drill in the middle of the night in our kaftan and what not, Sunday morning run (beserta aktiviti kutip sampah), mentoring program, Saturday dorm inspection.
Our turun-menurun tradition of round compound, salam-salaman before raya, dorm parties, 11 kali outings setahun in our ugly green baju outing, lagu raya dedication ketika buka puasa, and our open air cinema, ingat tak?
Oh and our favourite foods di dining hall and canteen; the daging dendeng, nasi ayam, masak lemak ayam with sambal kicap, ABC and rojak canteen, Mee Goreng and Teh Ais Uncle Joe, Nasi Ambang di Koop, Nasi Lemak jualan hockey team and the list goes on lah.
Or the never-ending issues of tak ada/kekurangan air, kesukaran mendobi kerana hanya ada 1 washing machine and 1 drier the setiap blok, the nonsensical school rules seperti wajib pakai pin tudung (like WTH?) and my least favourite, Add Maths home works yang menimbun-nimbun. Saya selalu tiru saja akhirnya sebab tak sempat fikir. Yeah I’m ngeks that way. It is mind-boggling to me how I managed to get good result (for my standard-lah) for my Add Maths. Betul ya, tulis nama saja dah dapat 10 markah?
So yeah, you get the drill. In spite of the ridiculous rules, the demanding teachers, the perasaan terkurung dalam sekolah (hinggakan visit to the hospital pun sungguh menyeronokkan?), the grilling study process, we love love love our time there. To commemorate the 10 years after we leave school, we’re planning a weekend getaway and a reunion dinner!
Girls, if you’re an STF 959-ers, give support to the hardworking committee; go visit the blog and join the Facebook Group. 10 years! Time flew by so fast. The way our seniors put it, “We travel far and wide, but we begin in STF.”

Sila baca rules ini ya. Dilarang membuat kerusuhan/keonaran. Dilarang melakukan tindakan melawan hukum. What part of these rules do you not understand, keluarga Pak Radzi? Jika kalian semua faham peraturan Istana, kenapa kalian bergelagat sebegini?
Good business, bukankah?
Sekian!
(1) Medan pun ada Eyes on Medan tau. Sort of lah. Heh.
Tengoklah the spread! Sungguh mewah kan?
Errr baiklah? Horas to Brastagi!
(1) Strawberry sungguh murah dan lazat. Manis-manis masam.
(1) 'Apapun, enaknya minum Teh Botol' Itu tagline minuman ini. Teh Botol keluaran Soros, minuman rasmi Indonesia. Sungguh refreshing. Hanyalah Teh O yang sejuk sebenarnya; sungguh sesuai buat peminat Teh O Ais. Kenapalah tak diluaskan eksportnya ke Malaysia? Pasti lakulah!
(1) Itu kamera Adinda saya. Check out the 50 mm lense! Saya juga mahu!
(1) Adinda saya keletihan di dalam Kijang. Itu topi baru beli di Brastagi. RM9 saja.
(1) Close up sikit seekor. Tengoklah dia, diam-diam ubi berisi.
Arrived in Polonia Airport jam 0830 pagi waktu Indonesia. Ya, saya dan Ibu saya memakai long cardigan yang sama. Cumanya cardigan Ibu tidak berjenama tetapi berharga RM100++ dan cardigan saya berjenama Nichi tetapi hanya berharga RM60++. Fakta tidak menarik serta tidak relevan.
(1) Saya yang gembira turun dari Kijang, the national car of Indonesia.
(1) Saya cuba ingin jadi salah seorang patung bertudung tetapi muka saya bulat sedangkan muka patung-patung bujur comel.
Kemudian kami check in di Hotel Best Western Asean International. Lokasinya tidak betul-betul di tengah Bandar Medan, which is good jika anda tidak suka hiruk-pikuk bandar. Tapi jika anda tiada tourist guide, saya cadangkan cari hotel di tengah bandar, to eliminate transport cost.
