Simple Kind Of Life

Watched E!True Story on Paris&Nicky Hilton yesterday. They are so sickening. Haha. Beatiful. Tall. Skinny. Blonde. And filthy rich. Bleurgh! Adam from 8TV Quickie said that he thinks Paris is more beautiful but Marion thought that Paris looks sluttier, and Nicky looks more innocent. Yep I think so juge, Paris is pretty, but with this don't-look-at-me-or-ur-eyes-will-burn kind of prettiness, but Nicky looks approachable and sweet. Sickening though. Blek!

Watched Josie & The Pussycat for the 1st time juge. And ooh I loved Tara Reid in that movie. Sooo.. apa ek.. comel!!! I am hooked to byk sgt tv shows. Trok btol. America's Next Top Model. Queer Eye For Straight Guy. Reality tv shows never been this good. While I am practically wasting my time at home, my friend Daud amazes me by starting his own business of nasi ayam. He rent one stall in a restaurant, cooks, and sells the dishes. Kagum tak? One-man show tau. Ana is busy with her Unit Trust thingy. Dod is kinda practicing to become a good housewife. My classmate, Linda is in Sabah, her boifren's home, meeting his family & will be staying there for 1 month. Linda yg comel dan cekap dlm segala kerja pasti disayangi bakal in laws. Haha go girl.

And ooh Shahrul is so sweet. [He is available now, girls ;)] He calls me almost every night these days, from Australia, simply to wish me "good nite, makcik, sweet dreams!" Big mistake, ex-gelfren. Infidelity is a big NO NO. My fren Shahrul here is one of the finest man I've known. Be strong, bro. You will eventually find someone better. Adios peeps! :)

Que Sera Sera

Reading Nicholas Sparks' Nights in Rodhante and watching Pak Lah with his oath for the newly elected govt made me think that life has a funny way to humor us.. and in the end, it's up to whether you are strong enough to laugh along, or to stumble and cry. That place of Pak Lah should have been Anwar Ibrahim's if things never went wrong. Little did we expect that in 2004, Pak Lah will be the one leading the nation. And there goes the golden saying.. life has it's ups and downs.. there is nothing certain in life.

I seldomly thought about my future. The fartherst I have thought of my future is the day I will proudly receive my LLB degree and later continuing LLB Hons. And that's it. I do not know what am I to do next.. how I want my life to be. Those Qs remain unanswered. Am I scared? If yes, of what? Dissappointment? My present life is beautiful.. or at least I think it is. For I have a great family, the greatest friends, my sweetheart whom I love dearly, and I am pursuing my passion.. and plus, I believe I have a good life, and that sure is important. It is not enough for a person to have a good life if he does not know that he has it. You have to make a mental note for every positive things/ persons/ situations you encounter.

However, despite believing that I have a good life, I think I have problem when thinking of the future. Am I scared? Am I sceptical? I live my life by many rules, and one that is most popular in my lifehood is to hope for the best but to prepare for the worst. If you have tried your best, tawakal, and leave it to fate. E.g: I always prepare myself for bad results even if I thought I did good. I seldomly anticipate my boyfriend to do anything romantic to make me happy [but I sure hope]. I even prepare myself for sad ending when reading novels. Etc etc. This, I believe is done by me to avoid dissappointment, but sometimes, sadly, this theory does not work in practice. And this is simply becos I am human. Ups and downs in life do affect me. Am I sceptical? Or is it just being realistic?

All these come to me thinking of my future again.. how shall it be? Who shall be in it? Do I want to become a lawyer? Or do I possess passion to educate ppl to become good lawyers instead? Do I want to pursue my Masters? Very soon or later? When shall I be married? Soon or much much later? Will I even have a future? Are these Qs of fate? Or are they meant to be discovered by me, myself?

Well, for now, eventho it is hurting me [for I hopelessly want to map them all out, but I just can't], I guess I better stick to my principle [this is to avoid jiwa meruntun - nanti kesian Far], i.e. to hope for the very best, and to prepare myself for the worst, to enjoy my present life, and to know that I am enoying it while I am enjoying it, and such is best laid down in the song.. Que sera sera, what will be will be, the future's not ours to see, Que sera sera, what will be will be..

BARISAN NASIONAL PREVAILS

The result is out. BN won the hearts of majority of Malaysians. Go BN! Quite byk unexpected result, e.g Permatang Pauh dapat kat BN. The calon was ex-Imam Besar Masjid Negara, sure that is s'thing, tapi his lawan was Wan Azizah. Woohoo. But menang tipis with 35 majoriti saja and becos of that, Wan Azizah mintak pengiraan semule. More, Hadi kalah di Marang to BN. How great is that!? To make the matter even more interesting, Terengganu is now back to BN! Yeay! Alhamdulillah. Got the news awal, from Hazri who told Elin who told me. Rasenye Hazri ikut pegi pengiraan undi. The reason could be that mase Tganu dpt to PAS in 1999, tade improvement. Thus the ppl opted to vote for BN this time around. Good choice indeed. Dr. Mashitah our 1st celebrity to get into Parliament menang di Baling. Yea! Prof Lok Lok pun kalah. Oh and I have to tabek Lim Kit Siang for his smart strategy in Ipoh. His manifesto berbunyi bahawasenye die menyokong sume dasar kerajaan which he thinks sgt sgt bagus, and thus, ppl must vote for him supaya adenye pembangkang yg bagus untuk realisasikan / check on pelaksanaan tu. Bijak tak die?!! Yep that is what pembangkang is all about.. check and balance [if not to jadi new govt la]. And di tempat saye, Dato' G menang, kalahkan Ismail Kamus, begitu juge Dato' Zainal for DUN. My mom n her frens sgt sgtla sonok n rase perit-jerih berbaya. Dato' Zainal tros thanked my mom thru sms for all the hardworks. Tres bien, Dato'! Datin Tini, my mom's good fren, juge Dato's wife, will bawak the gang to Bandung as a reward. Waah sgt baik. Maka, dgn kemenangan BN, takdela rase dose sgt tak kuar undi. Me stayed up smlm all night tick2 paper for kwsn2 yg BN menang. Me n Elin asek call n sms je, "weh tgk TV1 for result in Kedah", "Prof Rahmat kat TV1!" [My Prof kasi political analysis], "Wan Azizah kalah!!!" etc etc, sume nak report to each other. Haha Elin the Mahathir hard core fan. Hehe. Maka, gudlak Pak Lah to maintain the beautiful govt we have now, and of course, to improve it. Byk undi meningkat, I believe, sket sebyk adalah faktor Pak Lah yg mesra rakyat, yg tackle issues yg nampak simple, tapi dekat di hati rakyat [e.g birokrasi, ketidakmesraan pegawai kerajaan, rasuah], and his friendly and down to earth presence. Go Pak Lah! Heh. And Malaysia shall remain successfull..

Tomorrow is the day. Sume mesti keluar buang undi. Vote for yourself and your country. Huhu. And yet, me the preacher, tidak akan mengundi. This is supposed to be my 1st time as a voter, but me, melengah2kan register nama to vote, maka, telah tidak tersenarai sebagai voters. Huwaa sori Pak Lah. Rase berdose sbb Pak Lah byk kali reminded us, even satu undi pun berharga. To make it worse, my mom asek nag me "Kan dah rugi satu undi for BN kat sini" and more, ads everywhere ckp tak cukup dgn hanya sokong sesebuah parti, u have to go and vote for the party. Eventho tak ngundi this year [waa lagi 5 years for the chance to come], nevertheless, my loyalty is positively for BN. Go Pak Lah! This is becos I was raised in a BN-core family, and more, I believe that the present govt has done so many things for the country and I am more than satisfied. But then again, it is all about perspective. I am taught to believe that I should be so thankful for all the govt has done for us Malaysians. This is not satu propaganda politik. Saya percaya political preferences tidak divide kite sume, and in the end, kite sume are happy Malaysians. My mom sebok campaigning and the major prob here is calon Parlimen kami is an Indian, jadi byk makcik2 pakcik2 nak vote for Muslim, iaitu Ismail Kamus [berat, berat], so my mom and her peraih undi gang had been working real hard to educate them. Bla bla bla. Demam pilihanraya. My prayers are for BN. To all who have registered to vote, go vote! And remember, vote for what you believe in.

It Begins With Respect

Me and the girls went to the 3R's Girls Day Out at Midvalley kelmarin. Sempena International Women's Day. It was fun. Byk celebrities.. the 3R girls, Ning B, Ako Mustapha [who btw is sgt sgt comel!!!], Reshmonu, Vince, Marina Mahathir, Asha Gill, ramaila. Bestla. Activities pon best. We signed byk sgt petitions. Ade mini konsert. Vince Ako n Reshmonu compete dlm satu game ni.. they have to masak, ikat lampin baby, lipat baju, jahit lubang butang, all in 20 minutes. The winner was Reshmonu. Sgt terer. Heh. We joined games n quizzes. Dpt byk goodies. I even tried casting for 3R [saje suke2 with Aniz Dod Elin]. Sonok sgt. Heh. Okie dokie, Happy International Women's Day. Remember, it begins with respect. Thus, respect yourself, girls!

Shake Ya Booty, B'day Cutie

Angelic friends they are. My friends celebrated my birthday today kat ayer terjon sg congkak and it was a perfect surprise. My birthday is like 19 days to come tapi they all planned to celebrate it earlier sbb we are all off to 3 months hol, thus nanti susah nak gather sume 9 of us. Sgt sweet! Real sweetie[s] korang ni! Sgt bes! Tq tq tq. Am felt appreciated and loved sgt2. Mwahs u guys! They gave me an early birthday gift as well. A framed karikatur of me. Serious sama. Gile pandai org tu lukis. The cake was amazingly yummy. And the above subject tu adalah wordings in the card they gave me. Bes bes. And moreover the picnic was fabulous. Had real fun today! Mwahs!!!!

However [ni yg tak besh ni], my xm did not go as well as I wanted it to be. Even subjects yg suke or hopeful pon macam apa je. Just pray for the bestla. Amiin.

And yesterday, 10.03, last year, was the day I met the love of my life for the first time [all thanks to Dod ;-) heheh]. I love you, Sayang. It just keeps getting better :-)

A Woman To Love

Due to some weird blue feeling I had as a result of something stupid did [or I perceived did by] someone I love love love, sgt takleh blaja [and besides, reading environmental law really sucks big time. busan], I went and did something I never did before. Went to Bukit Raja [which is only 10 minutes from my house by the way] and watched movie alone. Most of my frens got paper tomorrow. Ana n Elin went shopping at Midvaley [tak rase nak shop with the mood I was under], n Far had this nightmare pagi tadi pasal tak sempat blaja n all, so I went alone. Maybe mcm biase je for certain ppl, but this is big for me. Yeay!! Sukatila nak excited. And the best part is.. Something's Gotta Give is brilliant. FUN with capital F U n N. Jack Nicholson was amazing. Keanu is like.. what.. the hottest doctor [or man] ever???!!! Sgt comel!!! But the show stealer was Diane Keaton.. no wonder she was nominated for Oscar for that role. Absolutely splendid splendid performance. This is by far [for 2004 la] the sweetest movie. I luv it. No regret at all tgk sorang2 [except tak dpt confide or share ngan sesape] n no regret buang mase mwahaha. Ok, mee goreng I ordered from Kedai Mamak Khalifah mesti dah siap. Chioww!

Exam week. Not an amazing one I must say. 4 papers dah lepas. Ade 3 more coming. Bleurgh. The papers were all tough. Sgt menekan jiwe. But so thankful for sume org sekelilingku.
