::Staring At The Ceiling. Blink blink::

Sometimes I do like being behind the wheel. To be in control. Yeah.

Hanky panky registration. It was actually pretty smooth, except for the absurdity of my academic record, which shows that I have not yet completed some compulsary subjects for LLB. Time kaseh. Maka, saya tak boleh register for Honours program pada mulanye. But the nice law office staff, Mr. Khairul helped me out by endorsing my result transcript, so that saya boleh mendaftar. However, it is not yet settled for graduation. Bleurgh.

Watched The Incredibles and The Forgotten. Fun.

I believe that whether or not you are a good Muslim, is in the end decided by Allah SWT. Tapi the least one who proclaims him/herself as a Muslim SHOULD do, saya percaya, is solat 5 waktu. Sekadar berpesan2. Teehee :)

There is finally a sequel to Dalam Hati Ada Cinta, which previously ended hampeh-ly. Brilliant casts: Umie Aida, Elly Suriati, Azean Irdawati, Intan Azura, the oh so adorable Ako Mustafa [who I think looks better with shorter hair], and Aqasha [who looks gorgeous with his new long hair and scruffy look]. Yeay.

Do you like NST new look? Good things do come in small packages *wink wink* Teehee. Oh ade sesuatu di dalam NST semalam yang perlu didiskusikan. Will do it tomorrow. Huwargh.

Still suffering from sore throat, hasil batuk selama 2 bulan yang tidak dirawati secara profesional. Natijahnya, lama tak betol2 enjoy iced drinks. And apatahlagi ice cream. Huwaa! Cedapnye!

The Sims is a jagged little pill, and I am an addict. My current Sims is Adam, and I am in love with his life. Teehee. Next mission: Getting a promotion, making more close friends at the club, and getting Mimi to be his girl. Hoorah.

Ngantuk.

Sands To My Shore

My Raya was okay. Raya chez moi was certainly funner. I like playing host [minus the cleaning part lah]. Duit Raya still flooded into my pocket.. sumeorg pemurah.. dapat sehinggalah anda kawen atau keje, kata mereka. Which means saya akan dapat Duit Raya lagi dalam mase beberapa tahun ni. Yeay. Cheh, tak malu. Teehee. So Yang, you loved my cookies? Cedap kan? Teehee. Hope all of you had fun juge Raya tahun ni.

Went to Penang and Ipoh for sedara-mara visits on 2nd raya. Sampai demam lah berjalan2. Raya ke-5, went to Terengganu, for Eddy's rombongan meminang. Dapat org Duyong dua-pupu saya. Agak cun jugakla. Young couple. Eddy is only 23 and just started work. The girl is not even 21 yet. Biarla, jodoh masing2. "When u realise u really want to spend the rest of ur life with somebody, u want the rest of ur life to start ASAP." Kan? Me had fun with Far. Slept over at Far's for the 1st time. Macam tak caya je at last tibe juge ke rumah besfren saye. Sumeorg sgt2 baik. TQ for the hospitality.

Will go back to Shah Alam tomorrow. Agak malas sebenanye. Had my medical check up done today for the registration purpose, and alhamdulillah, I am perfectly healthy. The doctor was really nice. And handsome too. Teehee.

Help. I am currently irritated with this someone and walaupon rase mcm tak baik, I couldn't help myself!!! Rase nyampah, nak wat camne. Tolongla stop mengade-ngade. Even saya pon tak ngade2 camtu sedangkan I am in the position to do so. Puhleeez lah. *roll eyes* I know there is almost no chance at all that that someone will be reading this, tapi, nak shout out gak.. jangan ngade2!! Please! There, my inner demon has spoken :p Pardon her.

Okay, switch off cranky mode *BIG SMILE* Ibu bapa + Adinde yang dikasihi, Sanak saudara, Sweetheart tercinte, Para Sahabat [terutamanye Far + my angels yang amat disayangi + Ayin], dan semua yang berada dalam lingkungan persahabatanku, Am sayang awak sume. Teehee. Mwahs.

"Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you do, you will be successful" [Albert Shwetzer]

Alhamdulillah, I have unofficially graduated with Sarjana Muda Undang-Undang [LLB] :-) Got my final Final Exam result yesterday, and am thankful to Allah, and the wind[s] beneath my wings. Thank u all. Alhamdulillah, I got a DL for this semester, but frustratingly, do not manage to graduate with a DL. Lagi 0.05. Sedeh tak? Anyhow, saye amat bersyukur. Merci sume [ibubapa, famili, sweetheartku, para sahabat], atas tunjuk ajar, sokongan, bantuan, motivation dan kasih sayang selama 6 semester ni :-) Couldn't have done it without all of u.

The journey is not over yet though. [it never will, insyaAllah. cari ilmu sampai bile2] This 23rd November, will daftar for LLB [Honours/ Kepujian]. Like Dod already explained in her blog, Honours program is an advance degree in law [previously known in UiTM as ADIL program] and is designed to expose lawyers-to-be to more practical aspects of law. Thus, this is a prerequisite for one to be a practicing lawyer.

Thank you and tahniah, fellow friends [especially my beloved angels]. See you next semester [in ur ehem, black and white attire :p]. And for sayang2ku yang belom dapat Hons, Am will be praying for korang. Mwahs mwahs!

America's Dirty Secret

Oprah featured an extremist religious group in Arizona which practices polygamy marriage between underage teens and older man, and this, involves incest. This knowledge shocked me. Not that I perceive Americans to be the most morale society, but USA is a civilised country, which upholds law and illegalize polygamy. How could this happen?

There is one man in Colorado who has 39 wives and 75 children, and is going to marry another girl, aged 16. A pretty one too. The girls here are forced to marry older men once they turn 16, and have completely no say in this. Main problem: girls here are uneducated [education is permitted only up till 10th grade, i.e. 14-15 of age]. They wear real decent clothing [and bun their hair]. Amat menutup aurat. Very religious it seems.

Most of them tend to accept this as their destinies, obligations, and what God requires of them. This religious clan practices incest, as they believe marriage should only be between those within the same blood line, as they think they are very closely related to Jesus. Shocking, eh?

If you ask me, I think that this is more of gender issues. Some girls who did not want to accept this as their doomed destiny came about and told the world about it, and some even tried to save other younger girls. One woman had succeed in convicting a man for child molestation, and is now trying to get the man who molested her sister prosecuted. Before, she was married to an older man as well, and was brought to realisation of this crude reality after seeing a female visitor and she thought to herself "I want to wear my hair like that as well" and so, ran from her 'home'.

Oh did I mention televisions are not allowed there? They almost have no contact with other parts of America, yet alone, the world, except for occasional visitors, once in a while.

How could this be happening in the United States? Incest and child molestation is immoral and vicious. And polygamy in such situations is a disgrace and abuse upon women, as women will without doubt be powerless, submissive, and door-mat to their husbands. If this is the case in USA, imagine what is happening to women from other uncivilised side of the world.
Happy Birthday, Adindeku.
My beloved bro, Mohd Reza Afandy, turned 18 today. May happiness, success, love, and Allah's blessing be with you always, adek. Be good.
Kakak loves you!

Just Lose It. Go Crazy. Aaaaaaaa!
I am a comical girlfriend. I really am. I believe communication & laughter can solve any sort of problems. I could be crying my heart out one minute, and the next, laughing madly at my own stupidity. One moment merajok, in a split second, cracking a laugh at his stupid jokes or his irrelevant serenadings or cute remarks. Well, sunshine me. Cheh. Konon2.

If you know my Ibu, you will know where I got my goofy streak from [besides Far]. S'times a traditional mom who interrogates before approving our outings; s'times a mak datin, glamour mom. Mostly, she is the Lorelai Gilmore kind of mom who shares secrets, gossips & fashion talks with me, and the next she could be the funny mom who enjoys daily dose of Pingu and Connie The Cow. Ibu is a little bit of everything, with a pinch of humour and laughter. And I thank her for passing that on to me.

Macam-Macam Ada
Spring-cleaned the house today dari pagi. Ni baru abis. Amat penat. Tak siap lagi lak tu. Esok sambung, together with redecorating and etc. This year, we're raya-ing here in our crib. The big family will all come here insyaAllah. We just found out about it earlier this week [maktok's request], maka kelam-kabutla mengemas, nak jadi host. Raya punya pasal. So if you please excuse me [kerek je], am going to write another post and go sleep while waiting for my daily portion of romance [read: boifren tepon. Teehee].

He Reigns. Again.
We all know by now, that Bush won again. It was a devastating loss for the Democrats. During our buka puasa yesterday, my mom frantically commented, kenapala ramai vote for him lagi, after what we saw he had done to the world, particularly, dunia Muslim. Well, I told my mom, and was seconded by Bapak, that even if Kerry was elected as the new President, I think that still, nothing much would be done. Nasib Palestenians for instance, akan amat masih tidak pasti. Bush won because he made himself useful to his country and his people. Cuma dasar luar sahaja yang bermasalah. Then again, ignorant ppl couldn't care less, and so voted for him. As I said before, voting for Kerry does not ensure a better dasar luar, but it is worth giving him a shot. But evidently, Bush remains popular after all he did, and all he did not do.

Allah saves Arafat
Yaser Arafat's health is deteriorating. Beliau telah secara clinically meninggal dunia and is now relying on alat bantuan. My mom's fren, Datin Tini, upon hearing this, tros cakap, "MasyaAllah. Perang Sabil lah jawabnya." God forbid. Nauzubillah. May Allah saves him. And may us all be saved as well.

"If you want to know what a man is like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals" - Sirius Black to Harry Potter, Harry Potter&The Prisoner of Azkaban
Indeed. Very well said. I believe the way you treat the waitress- whether or not you say thanks, whether you would scold her for bringing you the wrong meal; OR the way you treat the pakcik taxi; OR the humble [or not] way you speak to makcik cuci toliet; OR the way you, as a superior handle your staff; etc etc- all of these says a lot about you. Take a good look of ppl around you, and you will be amazed. A whole different perspective.

I Hope You Dance

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed.

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.

I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance,
Living might mean taking chances but they're worth taking,
Loving might be a mistake but it's worth making.

Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin' out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)

I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

Dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance.
I hope you dance....I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone

This beautiful song is sang by Lee Ann Wawock.
A tribute to all daughters.
I wish these for my daughters [to-be] [Teehee] as well :-)

::Shopping Spree::
So I went shopping with my mom & adek yesterday. It was fun! Everything I bought are very practical. I listened to Oprah & bought 2 different colours of the same top. Oprah cakap, kalau suke satu top, belila dalam sume warne yang anda suke. Among many stuffs I got for myself, my fave is the hipster jeans from Seed. Real cute.

::Forgiveness::
My man told me that his Thai fren tak puas ati dengan statement yang dibuat oleh our beloved Dr. M, i.e. berila autonomi kepada Selatan Thai. And Thai ppl adalah marah. Their govt is of the view that Dr. M's opinion is baseless and frustrating.

In my humble opinion, instead of worrying too much of what Dr. M has said, selesaikan masalah dalaman negara dulu, i.e. skuad polis mereka. Don't get me wrong. I do not condone what Dr. M said. Ppl make mistakes. And this may be one of Dr. M's. Tapi tak perlulah terkesan sgt. Even more, Dato' Seri Najib kan dah jawab, Dr. M's view is personal, and does not reflect the position of our govt's.
Sorry masyarakat Thai. Maafkanlah Dr. M kami.

::Heart-throb::

I think this guy from Stairway to Heaven is a treat. Yummy cute!

I've been restraining myself from watching mushy Korean dramas, sbb sedeh & heart-wrenching sgt, esp if I attach myself [saye emo. Teehee]. Tp skrg ni, 8.30 pm [utk hari2 yg ponteng terawikh, ehem], mesti tetibe unconciously terswitch 8TV. Wajah angelic gile, macam tak lojik if he has even one mean bone in his body. Hawt!!

::Sparkling Clean::
Today I spring-cleaned my pretty, maroon toilet. Aah puas ati. Passionate amat saye membasuhnye. Teehee. And now, I'm really thirsty.

::A Gal's Besfren::
The tv in my room is magical. Kdg2 ade rupe, tade sore. More often, ade sore, tp gelap gelite. And most of the time, I had to preset [cari channel] everytime nak tgk. Maybe I need to give him a name [oh now the tv's a he. Teehee] to establish some connection between us [he just moved in my room earlier this year & is kinda old]. Bleurgh.

My truest besfren, my kindred spirit, Far is currently demam kuat. Tahap tade sore. Cian die. Insomnia lak tu.. camne nak get enough rest. Get well soon, my dear.

::Eid::
Sape nak kad raye, sile berikan nama & add anda kepada saye [kot2 saye takde]. Teehee. Sayang, ur kuih & kad raya is already on the way. Yeay.
