Far reminded me of this quote which we read in one of the self-help books by Andrew Matthews- on the day I jatuh. Tuesday baru2 ni sebenanye. Yes I fell. Jatuh, yeay yeay. I suck big time dalam arena lompat-melompat [kecuali atas katil, maka mungkin juge bole atas trampouline. Heh]. Cube meniru gaya Far melompat across longkang kat school, untuk mendapatkan karipap sardin and the heavenly keria dari stall abg mat, dan demi itu, saya terjatuh. Baik punye landing. Ramai kawan2 nampak. Lagi lawak sbb aku tak teros bangun lepas jatuh, duduk lagi gelak2. Haa bagus. Lagi ramai bole nampak. Tanye the girls, "camne kalo aku masuk longkang tadi? korang kawan aku lagi tak?" Sume jerit "kawanla!!" Haha kawan2 aku comel. Abis suar saye kotor. Kambing sungguh.

 

And more to add to the not-so-happy-week list. My used-to-be-'flawless'-skin [at least that is what was told to me by a beautician mase Marie Claire seminar dulu. Heh] kini sungguh menghairankan. Jerawat tumbuh without mercy. Balik umah je, Ibu tego. Tq Ibu for pointing out apa yg paling tanak denga. Far dok kata, biasela tu kadang2. Tak biase! Tak paham! Eurgh.

 

Lagi. My bf tak tepon2 lagi to bgtau the result from the visit to the immigration office. Apa ni yang?! Let me know!! Stressed out gile owang!!! Balik tak balik ni?!! Balikla!!! Balik eih?!

 

Ooh ade lagi. Bapak masuk hospital lagi arini. Die gi ofis pagi tadi. Pastu was not feeling too well, then he went to HKL dan memasukkan dirinye sendiri. Asalnye nak check up je, tapi result takleh tau dengan segera. Biasela tu, govt's. Pastu kene admitted at least untuk satu malam. Maka balikla awal tadi. Went with Ibu, sian Bapak kene dok 2nd class ward, sbb 1st class ward PENOH. Kambing. Tapi bagusla para nurses HKL, dari dulu lagi, mesra dan dedicated. Yeay. Bapak, get well soon!! [And die kata esok die kene kuar sbb AF tunggu die.

I have a problem. There is a degree of possibility [in law, possibility is of lesser degree than probability. Heh] that there could be a problem mengenai pengembalian my bf ke tanah Malaysia. Ada masalah dgn dokumen perjalanan and something like that. And I'm really worried skrg; for him sbb kesian banyak mende nak fikir [hang in there, Sayang], for me sbb takut die tak dapat balik. Huwaa. I hope that the problem is really not a problem at all. I hope everything's going to turn out just fine. Kalau tak, bole tak nak jadi idle?! Nak makan ubat tido pastu pengsan lama2 macam Princess Aurora, sampai die balik to rescue me. Hmm. In that case, I would be missing all the fun stuffs in my life- frens, grad, Honours etc etc. Camne? SAF made me realise yang bahawasenye terdapat ramai long-lasting couples in my batch; Jaja-Bapak, Ez-Firdaus, Saiful-Adek, Aniz-Muhaimin, Hazri-Wahida, and to top them all, Zul-Linda. Congrats, buddies. Happiness always, and many many more happy days to come. I guess saye dan my ex sahaja yang tidak berjaya. Haha. Short distance is kinda weird bile pikir balik. Unless you two are real best friends. Tapi dekat atau jauh, both pon ade pros and cons masing2. Spice Girls said it best in their not-so-cheesy song, "Too much of something is bad enough, but something's coming over me and made me think that, too much of nothing is just as tough." Indeed. The couples I mentioned adalah sgt2 sweet. Muhaimin coached Aniz to bowl for SAF, dan pujuk2 Aniz mase die stressed out mase the real tournament. Bapak bawak a team of male supporters for Jaja mase Jaja lawan badminton. Bapak brought sandwiches mase Jaja tgh main bowling, tau2 je die lapar tgh2 game. Zul datang mase Linda lawan, Linda supported him mase die lawan. Begitu juge Jaja n Bapak. Pening pale tgk 'saat-saat bahagia' as Far and I put it. Hehe. Happiness always, buddies. Amiin.

Show us Some Respect 
 
The other day, gi mkn dgn Far, we were real hungry- no breakfast, lunch at 4. Went to a mamak restaurant where we were kacau-ed by a group of monkeys, I mean, boys. There were at least 7 of them. Biasala kacau2 tu, but most guys would stop after well, 5 minutes of no response. But these monkeys, they kept on bugging us dari nasi belom tibe, hingge foods hampir habis. The worst pengacauan ialah membuat bunyi2 pelik setiap kali kami cube menyuap mknn. Stupid. And ignorant of our feelings. Double stupidity.

Far tormented gile sbb die dok right seblah diorg, so I faced less kebisingan. Hilang kesabaran, tapi maintaned my cool, saye sound mereka. Dengan sopan tapi sinis. I asked them to shut up, dah kacau sikit2 tu dahla, soh diorg have some respect bla bla. They bising2 gak memule, yela, ego la tu, tanakla tunjuk mcm denga ckp pompuan [what's so wrong about respecting women by listening to what they say, guys?!! what?!!], tapi eventually senyap dan tak kacau dah. Huh.
 
This is what happen bile lelaki dalam geng ramai2 and perempuan tu minoriti. Cube kalo mase tu, I was with my large grup of geng, mesti tak brani sgt. Told Sharel. Die pon setuju laki kalo dlm geng jadi camni, and die added esp kalo jumpe gadis comel [well Sharel, it's not that.. ianye simply atas alasan nak tunjuk superiority lelaki dan suke tgk wanita mcm tak menjawab n tormented camtu. huh. but tq for offering to come halau mereke. me handled them well hehe] More geram bukan sbb kene kacau mase lapar, tapi sbb diorg have NO RESPECT!!!!! They had fun buat mcm tu, ignoring how they would feel kalo kene camtu. Superiority dalam cara macam tu is so so so not right. Go show your superiority kat class- academic performance, excel in sports- whatever, yg bole buat women respek, then kitorg bole terime korang sbg superior [with provisions]. Kalo tak bole, at least maintain la ke-gentlemen-ness anda. Mcm Zura kata, biar mati anak, jgn mati adat. Well, kalau tak reti adat sekalipon, gune kan la conscience yang Allah dah bagi pinjam. Sorry I called them monkeys. They are kalau diorg tak gune minda dan human conscience. Respect women, and we will respect you even more.

"Not nervous. Mesmerized."

I love Table For Two. A new English speaking romantic comedy series featuring Azizan Nin as Adam and Melissa Maureen as Sue. It started as an ad for Ponds, tapi sumeorg suke, so they turned it into a series. Interesting story line. Very good scripts. Good actings [but Zizan needs to polish up his acting skill a bit]. Simply adorable.

1st week- Sue intro Adam to her besfren Zoey n Adam intro Sue to his. Sue said it's important for ur besfren to like ur boifren sbb besfren's opinion matters.A lot. Agreed. Later, Adam intro Sue to his parents, n they ended eating at a mamak stall with Sue all dressed up for a fancy dinner. Suke tgk Sue jerit hepi mase Adam told her yg his mom tanye Sue nak apa from Aussie [his mom's going on a trip]- implication bahawa Sue is approved. Yeay.

Yesterday's- the sweetest. Adam tried hard to please Sue utk elakkan kebosanan- nice dinner at a fancy restaurant, with waiter dtg bawak bear comel dlm sweater tulis Adam n pakai a pretty bracelet, dlm pinggan full of roses. Alahai sweet nye lah sgt. Tapi later Sue ngamok when she found out yg Adam tiru tricks ni from a man's mag. Kenapa marah?!! At least he tried. At least die ade effort. Baiknye [!!!] Tapi kemarahan Sue berbaloi sbb Adam stayed up all night mencipta bekas popcorn out of plastecines- representing their 1st date [u'd understand if u'r familiar with Ponds' ad], together with a sorry card. How thoutful. Some boifrens even tak peduli pon if gelfren merajok. "Let them heal sendiri." Hmm.

The best bit about this show is that it is realistic; ketakutan jumpe our partner's parents for the 1st time, pergaduhan2 bodo dlm r'ship- green eyed monsters, boifren nak tgk bola instead of kuar dgn our cliques, paranoia, etc etc, kesanggupan besfrens to do anything for one another.

No Wine and Cheese Party. This function originated from Wine & Cheese Party practiced by law students and lawyers, but our law school had long changed its name to suit its purpose. This year's theme- Summer Fun [which I find rather none of relevancy, since we have summer selama2nye. Heh, but ok la, give the juniors some credits, they did a good job]
 
I went with little expectation- simply to hang out wif my frens, to support our juniors' prog [sbb mcm Mr Shukri kata, kalo tade sokongan, such functions could cease to exist], and to watch performances [Daud & KA were good. Rehan sgt3 pandai main gitar. And Bon.. he amazed us with his unknown guitar skill and kinda good voice. Naikla saham2 anda2 sekalian. Heh.]- I got more than I bargained for. Award presentation: I was among 6 students in my batch dapat DL award. Not that I am not aware of my own results, just that I didn't expect it coming. We were cheering real kuat for Elham when my name was called. And my frens apa lagi, jerit madly la. Yeay. Korang bes. Aku lak blushing tak pasal2. Tahpepe. Got a cert & a big hamper [nanti kite mkn2 ye, syg2ku]. Congrats fellow frens- El, Hazri, Emma, Bon, and our very own best student, Mr. Anwar [bole tak ko jgn pandai sgt?!]. And erm, somebody told me I looked terrific.. well, you made my day. TQ buddy. Heh.

Talking About My Man

My man is coming home!!!! In exactly one month time, he'll be here in Malaysia. Boy, was I surprised smlm mase he blurted the news to me!? Die tanye whether I prefer surprise or anticipation - And me, sbb I was already syak wasangka tentangnye sbb my bf byk sgt terberi hints [oo he's such a bad secret bearer], I chose anticipation la. Nevertheless, it was an amazing surprise. Now I have both, my dear, the lovely surprise, and this beautiful feeling of anticipation. Aah. Lovely. Am so glad. No wait, I'm more than just glad, I'm flabbergasted. Yeay suke suke. Menghitung hari. :-)

But as I said before, my bf is my mood elevator. Heh. As much as sgt rase hepi skrg, the floating me yesterday dah turun sket2 ke bumi, sbb tadi ade tak puas hati sket. It was nothing actually, but a drama queen I could be [hahaha] and me having my PMS [ahah] does not help [or help making things worse].. maka, tak bes la rase. Heh. I want to keep on flying. Mystery Girl

Lawak lawak. There's this one person who added my bf kat her YM list telling him she's a uitm fine art student bla bla bla. Then one day last week, pegi cc S2, me terduduk kat the exact same pc yang this girl gune.. and die tak dc YM die. The odd thing is that die add byk kwn2 saye including me myself, and Far. Persoalannye: dari mane die dapat sume addresses tersebut? My bf told me this is either a case of split personality [i.e. me jadi org lain-tahpepe] or this girl is a stalker [and not a smart one I guess] yang nak amek alih idup saye [haha yea yea real spooky]. And today, am in the same cc.. baru pas chat with that girl, dan telah tahu siapakah gerangannye die. Die adalah penjage cc ini. How I knew?! Easy. Far dah predicted sebelum ni.. just that susah nak percaya penjage cc akan violate privacy org lain, [ehem. heheh] and ade mase nak wat mende klaka cam ni. And tetiap kali I replied her msg, speaker pc die bunyi. Far gi tgk, and voila, it's her!! Lawaknye. Rase nak gi intro diri je. Dah balik lak die. Abis shift agaknye. Tuka org lain dah. L'homme qui joue des sports sont sexy

There is something sexy about a man who plays sports. Why else would jocks be so popular in schools? Despite me being lame in sports, I find sports men very, errmm.. intriguing. The other day, when me, Jaja, Far n Naem went to Pyramid and got carried away with those pretty2 stuffs at Aussino [smlm carried away lagi kat Aussino Midvalley], we accidentally got to watch a bunch of Chinese and Mat Saleh guys play ice hockey. Sgt kagum. Comel gile game. Naem is currently having hots for MVP [the Taiwanese drama about male basketballers in high school]- and despite me not having keen interest in both the story line and the 'looks', sgt suke tgk they play basketball. Comel. Mase primary school, I used to have a one-week crush on a soccer player, Mutawwadi [Sharel, if you remember him, shut up- don't laugh!]- simply because he was so good on soccer field and looked so dashingly cute + in control. Heh. Bykla crushes on sports men. Akmal Rizal. Minarwan Nawawi. Etc etc. Heh. Guys+sports=Sexy. Namely a guy who used to play keeper, who saved the so-called-famous goal, i.e. my sweetheart :P [Bet you're even cuter dengan your silat moves ;-) Heh.]
